Emeraude Lodge du Centre Hotel – Paris

Eurolines don’t offer hotel deals with the coach, so I used booking.com to book a hotel room in Paris.
There are many hotels in Paris but I chose this one due to its location and how easy it was to get to from the coach station. It cost us £169 for two nights so it was £84.50 per person (so ~£42 per night). This isn’t bad. And it’s a 3 star hotel.
The one thing you should not do is follow the directions on the website (which is what we did – you can easily get lost from Bourse). From Gallieni Station you should take the M3 line to République and change for the M9 line to Grands Boulevards. As you exit the station and depending which exit you come out of, turn into Rue du Faub. Montmarte then turn right into Rue Geoffroy-Marie. You can’t miss it when you get into the right road. I forgot to take a picture of the front but it is easy to locate.
I asked for a room with two beds, so we got it, and we placed on the fifth floor.
Standard Twin Room with a balcony

The Nespresso was a fun machine to play with because I never played with one before. The TV was small and they have very few English channels.

I love that Nespresso machine!!! That phone is mine by the way

The view was not entirely spectacular but I got to see beautiful buildings. ^_^

Balcony view

The bathroom was completely small. Shower was hard to turn around in. You will feel very cramped inside!! But very clean and we had clean towels.
Bathroom was small and cramp

Overall it was a nice hotel to stay in but noise levels were quite high on a Saturday evening. Very high. It was very hard to sleep on day 2.

The lift in the hotel is VERY SMALL so if you’re claustrophobic I suggest you take the stairs. We didn’t test the breakfast or the bar. The bar is generally expensive so I suggest you go to a cheap pub or to the supermarket opposite (before 9pm) to get your alcohol fix.
The staff speak good English so you won’t have any problems there.
The streets are generally clean but after a Saturday night don’t expect it to be clean around the area.
Not a bad hotel and not the worse ever. I have been to terrible places before.
