Im just trying to evolve
I have been buying and eating these from my local Chinese supermarket in Gloucester and they are not bad. Like you I don't understand why they are more expensive than in a good restaurant in Bristol but for the convenience they are well worth stocking up on.Next thing I need to find is a good, reliable source of crispy roast duck (like the ones hung in the windows of authentic chinese restaurants) and sauce to have with boiled rice.

LOL, yes, worth stocking up on and doing your own yum cha at home. ^_^You should be able to find frozen ready made roast duck in most Chinese supermarkets. Just defrost it and then roast it in the oven for half an hour. Try a plum sauce or oyster sauce to have it with. ^_^
