This is the much talked about Christmas advert of November 2018. Apparently this is a political issue about palm oil. Er. I think there’s been many news articles and advertising about reducing the use or irradicating of palm oil. So why can’t children these days learn early about the effects of using palm oil? OMG!

Iceland’s advert talks about an orangutan named Rang-tan who messes up a girl’s room. The girl asks Rang-tan why he’s making all this mess, and then we see the deforestation of the rainforest. Man is destroying nature for palm oil, and killing the orangutan’s home and the species as well. So sad.

There have been lots of “political” and troubling issues made in Christmas adverts. I don’t think this should have been banned from our TV sets! 

Teach the children of the future with what they need to do.
