After the second trip to Richmond Park I decided to eat ramen!
I wanted to go back to Shoryu but I thought I should have a go at another restaurant along Brewer Street which is in the back streets of Piccadily Circus. Brewer Street is the area where most Japanese people go to eat out and shop.
I decided to dine in Ittenbari since I saw the words ‘noodle’ and ‘bar’ on the sign.. Not sure what ittenbari means but it could mean “persistently” in Japanese. The waiters are Asian but speak Japanese. 🙂

I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with extra egg and meat… They used the yellow noodles which is not the one I like. The soup was rich in soy sauce, so it was quite salty. They probably need to concentrate a bit more on the soup. The eggs were a bit on the overcooked section. And the noodles were edible.

I also ordered the kara-age. This was good stuff, and I’m happy I ordered it. It doesn’t come with any sauce and I didn’t ask for any… too bad… otherwise it would have been a perfect lunch.
Total price came to £17.90 including my drink. Not a bad price, and cheaper than eating in in Shoryu. I would go again, but might try something different.
My geeky rating: 4/5
– Good service
– Didn’t like the ramen that much, but need to try out other flavours…
